About the Program

The Goober Hour is a musical, fantastical, often nonsensical, syndicated radio program described as a "weekly dose of wackiness" for ages 0-100. Host Trevor Walls - comedian, musician and pancake connoisseur - takes listeners on a musical journey through everything from classic tunes to niche gems, interspersed with comedy sketches, character improv, artist interviews and nostalgic sounds to create the perfect blend of all things weird and good in the world.

Broadcasting on and off the air since 2012, TGH has become a weekend favourite amongst families and goofballs across the nation. Recurring characters include the beloved and slightly confused Grampa Gramps, strict show-runner Mr. Perks, distressed upstairs neighbour Ned, and dozens more (who all seem to sound just a tiny bit like Trevor). Past special guests include "Weird Al" Yankovic, Dav Pilkey, Fred Penner, Laurie Berkner, Sharon & Bram, Chris Ballew, Walter Martin, Koo Koo Kanga Roo, and artists behind The Muppets, Yo Gabba Gabba, Postmodern Jukebox, Story Pirates, and more. The show broadcasts from Los Angeles every Saturday at 10am PST / 1pm EST or at any time on our website.
